Today on Rock And Roll English on my program Lazy Sunday, I will be talking about "Steppin' Out Queen" by Van Morrison from his 1979 album “Into The Music”.  There is a phrase  "It's just a windfall, just a windfall away". I never knew that the word windfall came from Apple trees, or probably from other fruit trees too. When the wind blows and the fruits fall onto the ground. A windfall or a bounty.  

I read the phrase in this book a friend of mine let me borrow titled, “At The Edge Of The Orchard” by Tracy Chevalier. What a wonderful book by a fantastic author. It is a historical novel, about an American family who grows apple trees on their land.
